Melburn Roobaix 2011 video

The Melburn Roobaix is a fun ride across, through, over and under  some of Melburn’s longest and bumpiest cobbled alleyways, dirt tracks and cycle paths concluding with a lap of at ‘Roobaix’ Brunswick outdoor velodrome.  The Melburn Roobaix, is about cycling through and discovering new parts of Melbourne with your friends.  This cycling event is inspired by the oldest cycling race in the world, the grueling Queen of the Classics, the Paris-Roubaix ‘The Hell of the North’.

Team Thrones had an awesome day out at the 2011 Melburn Roobaix by Fyxomatosis.  We produced this tidy little video to give you a feel for what it was like. Unfortunately by the time we got to the bottle shop before the last sector of cobblestones we turned the camera off instead of on so we missed part of the final mayhem.

Video filmed by Troy, Tim and Tom.  Final production handled by the delicate hands of Tom Hall.

Awesome sound track provided by Melburn band The Hello Morning – Without You.
